Adhesive LED lights
I found a strip of adhesive LED lights made to fit under thr throat of your machine. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with them? If so, are you satisfied with the amount of light they put out?

I purchased a strip of LED lights from either Lowes or Home Depot that fit under the throat of my longarm and I think I only paid about $20. They're wonderful! You didn't say if you're looking for a DM or LA but I think they would work for both provided the throat is not too short.

I need to find some. My light socket in my machine is damaged so I have no light, but a flex neck light.

JanInVA ... LED lights are cool. It's the halogen lights that are hot.
I had a halogen light for hand sewing that burned out recently. The clear light was great for sewing, but at times I would get too hot working under it. So, the replacement will be an LED, when I find one.
What I have learned during my search, is that the technology for LED is not consistent yet. Eg. you can find a 2 watt that is extremely bright .... and another one that is not. That's the problem I have been having ... finding one with the goose neck length I need with enough brightness of light.

I bought mine at Inspired LED based on a recommendation from someone in a Craftsy class. When I got mine, it was before they started kitting them up. They are worth every penny. See my before/after pics to show how much light they give off. Here is a link to their website.
