I just got a new quilting machine and I am wondering how you know how far to roll your quilt down to start the next pattern it is just a small one. The pantos have dots on them I think is has something to do with that the name of mine is inspira quilting frame. Please send me tips I managed to put the front back and batting one with no problem.

I just do what fits. I start at the top and then do each row as it fits. When it not longer fits, then I roll the parts of the quilt on the frame.
Sometimes I can do 2-4 rows before I need to roll the quilt ... other times it is just one pass and then roll and repeat.
It all depends on the size of the pattern.
