What is the best way to back a Baby Rail Fence? My fabric is 45" wide. My quilt is 46x58. I would like to know the best way to seam the backing fabric.

I made a strip down the middle on mine. It matched the strips on the front.

A strip in the middle would be easier.

Are you talking about a strip of the same fabric or a different fabric? About how wide for each strip?

The same fabric as the front, but different from the backing. Whatever it takes to make up the difference for the width.
