Backing color help please

its a beautiful quilt - great job! I personally am thinking something batik.. but not too strong so it doesn't over power the top.. but then again sometimes a bold backing is awesome.. see I am no help not sure if batiks come in wide.

For some reason I really like a stripe fabric for backs. I would look for a stripe that had some of the colors from the front.
as another idea, I would make some additional blocks like you have on the front and run a row of them either horizontally or vertically on the back and use a complementary color or stripe on either side of the row of blocks. When I piece a back like this, I set the row of blocks off-center in a 1/3 and 2/3 ratio.

Lovely top! For me it would depend on which fabric I was going to do my binding. I like the binding to coordinate with the top and backing. I might find a backing fabric and do binding in the peachy cream that is similar to the background in some of the blocks.
