Bargello Quilt
#1
I have been wanting to make a bargello quilt ever since I have been on this board and have seen other peoples bargellos. They are all just as beautiful as can be.
I go to a little quilting group on Tuesday afternoons. Every week come rain or shine. Because I really love going and the few ladies that go there are the best!!
Anyways, my husband and I had to go to town to pick up his medications and we stopped by the LQS, in fact we parked directly in front of that store (town is 1 street going one way and 1 street going the other way). But we went in and I asked about a Bargello Pattern and she only had one pattern and its called a Bargello Heart/Floating Heart combo pack. And in it, the pattern for both of them are for 4 different sizes. So that is a plus..and it was only $8.00.
So technically, I got 5 patterns for the price of one. I think that is an excellent deal.
So now, that I have a pattern, and oh yes I drooled all over myself, because that means now that I have the pattern, I am one step closer to making one. Now I just have to get twelve 1/2 yard peices of two color families and a Transitional Fabric which I guess is a Focus Fabric which in the pattern an example is...floral or a print with both color families in it. When I am able to get the fabric, I will have to ask the lady at ths store to help me pick it out if she wouldn't mind. Im sure she won't mind.
So Now....I can't wait. I want to do it in blues. I just think it would be GORGEOUS.

I am working on this bargello heart quilt right now. My colors are purples and turquoise. I actually took a class last weekend. It is really turning out beautifully. I am sure you will enjoy the process. I love picking out and putting fabrics together.
