Basting spray
I have started using the June Tailor quilt basting spray. I find this much easiers and quicker than pin basting. However the over spray at the edges tends to leave a stickyness on the floor. Does anone else have this issue and if so how do you go about cleaning it up? Thanks

When you spray near the edges, aim from the edge towards the center of the quilt. Be careful not to use too much or it will gum up the needle. I spray in a grid fashion about 6-8" apart. It holds very well. I used to use the June Tailor brand until I discovered the 505 brand. It's so much better! No gumming up the needle and much less stickiness when using. If you get a chance to try it, you will probably like it better.

How do you keep the sheet/newspaper from moving around? I have been using blue painters tape to hold the fabric to the floor so it doesn't move or bunch up leaving puckers or ripples on the back of quilt.
