I am trying to find the video tutorial which shows how to make a quilt block using just 3 seams. I forgot where I saved that. The woman begins with 5 pieces of fabric; 4 of one color and l of another. After sewing the 2 seams she manipulates the sewn piece and sews another seam. When she opens the block, it has a small block in the center on point. Can anyone help! Thanks.

I think that's the 3D bowtie and there should be a tute on here. Try doing a search for it.

I think that was the Missouri quilt co. that did a video on it. I can't remember exactly what the block was called but I'm thinking they called it the ten minute block.

I know I always ask this question, but who thought this up? I try so hard to get 1/4 inch seams, blocks that don't have some fabric right side up and some fabric wrong side up, and dream of blocks that are consistent in size. And somebody else dreams up unique ways to put it together. It always amazes me.
