Brace Yourself

I almost never pay regular price for fabric. I use the 40 & 50% off coupons and pour over the circular to find what fabric is NOT on sale. I spent $260 last Saturday at Joann's using the 50% off coupons. I got 108" bleached muslin and 90" bleached muslin, purple cotton broaddcloth, and some flannel that was 50% off at $2.50 and 2 other pieces of cotton that were $2.50. I thought I didn't do so bad. Included in that was 5 pairs of scissors, comprable to Fiscars, that were $3.99, a dritz rotery cutter at $6., a teeny rotery cutter for $5, a template, straight pins. The muslin was full bolts, one 15 yards and the other 10 yds. I think the other fabric was about 30 yards. And of course I really needed all that fabric!!!Don'tchaknow!!!

I buy some fabrics from Connecting Threads, and they have GREAT prices and very nice fabrics and batiks. Plus their cotton is grown in the US, although it has to leave here to be processed and woven into cloth. However, their prices still beat just about everyone, and free shipping at $50.00.
