Last weekend my husband and I went to PA to a family reunion hosted by his cousin and her husband. They happen to be the owners of Burkholder's Fabrics which was just down the road a half mile or so. Needless to say, I visited the shop!! Fabulous! I think if they tried to add one more bolt of fabric to their inventory they would have to build on an addition! And they were busy! The owner is also a builder, and there was mention made of building a quilter's retreat out of an old barn and log house nearby.

I was there last weekend and spoke with the owner, Gene. He told me and my daughter that he is adding on another room for more fabric, a restaurant, and a 32 bed retreat house for groups and guilds to rent- is the BEST!
