Can't find a special ruler
#1
I'm not even sure there is one available but.......I bought the pattern shown in the latest Connecting Threads catalogue. It's the American Wave Wall Hanging.... Been wanting to do it a long time, but the cuts are not something I want to do with scissors. do you know if they have a ruler out there that is in that particular shape?????
(Call me lazy, but I HATE cutting with scissors!)

Have you received the pattern yet? Is there a pattern within the pattern that gives you the template for the cutting? You could make your own with template plastic and a Dream Seamer (TM) to mark the 1/4" seam lines.
Dream Seamers are a tiny brass disk with a hole in the center. From the hole to the edge is 1/4". You put a pencil point in the hole, place the seamer against the edge of the template, and draw around the template. Joanne's used to have them, may still.

The description indicates it is made from a "single template" which sounds like there is no ruler that is used to cut. Perhaps there is instruction for making a template. I read a lot about folks who have taken a design to a place like Lowe's and having templates cut.

I recently bought this ruler. I think it might work for the quilt you want to make.
