Charity quilts

I live on afixed income and would like to know of the site or sites that pay for the fabric as long as you sew the quilts. I would donate all my time spared if the fabric was paid for. please help!!! ~~~~Kim~~~~

Quilts for Kids donates the patterns, and material. You have to supply the shipping back to them and the batting. They do like you to make one out of your stash, but I don't think it is a requirement.

I don't know the details, but Downy has a program where they send you everything to make a kid's quilt. I'm sure that someone on here can tell you about it. Some of the ladies on another site have made quilts for them.

I crochet, and quilt, both, and have done afghans and quilts for PL. I am part of the Dallas/Collin/Grayson County, TX chapter.
Can't speak for other chapters, but ours is as supportive to each other as this Quilting Board. It is also another great way to make friends in your area who have your same interests.
