Could somebody tell me where I could get a pattern for a Christmas tree. I want it to be a different/crazy looking tree. I can't find a pattern anywhere here in Des Moines. I want it be for a quilt or wall hanging.

here are a couple of Christmas tree patterns I am making this year.
http://thimble-art.com/category/patterns. The pattern is called 'Oh,Christmas Tree' It is foundation pieced but very easy to do and looks beautiful.
The other is at. happystashquilts.com. The pattern is called 'spring into Christmas.

If you have the Twister ruler, there is a christmas tree that you can do with it. You basically do a plain background of cream/light squares and do a pyramid shape in the middle in green squares. You then use your Twister ruler to re-cut squares.
