Easy is what my friend said too. And even though I have made many intricate quilts, and a lot from just looking at pictures, this one seems to buffalo me. I am so in love with the design I will give it a go, and run to my friend if I get stuck or I can't locate the pattern.

I agree, looks like one way you cut you get lights and the other way you get darks. I thought it was a Bargello at first glance. Selecting the color grades will be the most difficult part. Hope you have a design wall. It will make the layout much easier !!

Next piece column of lighter triangles zig zagged and then columns of the darker triangles zig zaggede.
The size of the original strips could be your choice, but I'm guessing they are 2 1/2.
