I have a Sapphire 830 with a 10 in throat and it helped alot, it also has needle down another big help.
But as I said before nothing is as good as a long arm so am having a table with a strait stitch delivered this Mon. I am so excited. Still not a long arm but works the same way, just a smaller area to quilt on.

I don't really see a long arm in my future, but would like to have another machine. I would like the stitch regulator, the needle down feature, a longer throat and the on off button that can be used instead of pushing the pedal. I think those features would be wonderful for me.
