discolouration mystery solved
#1
The tread did not bleed it was some brown batik fabric that I thought was washed. Guess not. live n learn.
Someone is kind enough to send me some colour catchers she got as a sample. When I get these I will rewash and hope for the best.
I emailed shout to see if they would be available in Canada. They said yes, so will keep checking zellers and walmart.

I've also been told (for the last three years) that they will be available in Canada. I have to go down to Odensburg to stock up every once in a while. (I always give a box when I give anything I've quilted, just in case.)
Love them.......if you see them in Canada, can you let me know where.
Thanks

When the color catchers came out they were untreated terry fabric, looked just like a wash cloth. If you can't find the color catchers out now buy some of the untreated terry/ cotton. I found Organic untreated, undyed cotton baby blankets on sale and made color catchers from that. The cloth ones are reusable many times.
