Do all sliders fit all machines?
#2
I use a slider all the time and the one I have fits all machines you just center the opening where your needle goes down. I think they are all made the same. I love mine I used to use parchment paper taped to machine it was a pain!

The Joann's near me didn't have it, I ordered it online. They may have it in the Viking Section though, if your Joann's has Viking.

Yes, one size fits all. It's a flat sheet with a hole in it where the needle goes through when you are freemotion quilting.
Yes, you can move it from one machine to another. I usually tape mine down the to table/machine bed when I'm using it and just pull the tape up when I want to move it.
Yes, our LQS carries them, so be sure to check yours before ordering it.
And, yes, I really like it for freemotion quilting!

I'm pretty new at FMQ too, and this Supreme Slider does make it easier.
There's a video here about how it works: http://www.daystyledesigns.com/supremeslider.htm
