I refer to mine as my studio, its located in the basement family room, and my longarm in in the unfinished section of the basement, just open the door. It suits my needs very well.

Mine is called The Multi-Room. Our house is in a constant state of flux. Our main bedroom was too cold and too far away from the one upstairs bathroom. I moved all my sewing “stuff” out of the original 12’x12’ lavender sewing room and moved the bedroom in there.
The old bedroom is now a combination of sewing/craft room, my winter clothes storage in a large armoire, blankets storage in a 100+ year old cedar chest, office (36” wide writing desk and file cabinet), and overflow pantry and freezer. It’s snug, but it’s working.
Once the new master bedroom, complete with two closets as a large bath, is completed all my sewing items will move back to the lavender room. This Multi Room will then be the new laundry room, overflow pantry and freezer, and will probably retain the armoire.

A friend made me a sign when we first moved into this house that said “ LaQuitas Studio” however it’s just called “my room”. When someone’s looking for me they will say, she’s in her room. And I am very blessed to have an actual sewing room.
