When I had my dyeing thing going, I would do that technique to similate landscape elements. The blue green one reminds me of the mountain/lake scene on my to do list, it would be perfect as the backdrop. The cocoa/blue one would be great for tree trunk and weathered wood. They are just gorgeous.

I love them. They make amazing sashing and borders cut on the length. A whole lot of payoff for very little work. And they are fabulous background pieces for landscape hangings and art quilts. Wonderful for miniature landscapes and postcards......the list is endless. I've used the last one personally as background for a simple sailboat wallhanging. It's a beautiful versatile piece of fabric.
