Do you use "Space Bags" for your quilting
You know those marvelouse bags you see on TV.....
do you use them for like poly batting....fleece....
I can not get mine to hold the vacuum...for the life of me.

I love mine... even use them when we travel, especially when we go camping... towels, pillows, clothing, bedding... you name it, I spacebag it...
they are fabulous for saving space wherever things are tight

I love them for storing bulky winter items during the summer, i.e., blankets, quilts, extra comforters, bedspreads, sweatsuits, sweaters,etc. And for storing summer items during the winter, i.e., sleeping bags for camping.

NO! The bags can open and then you would have another problem lurking. Also the bags are plastic. I like the IKEA zippered storage bags or a plain 'ol pillowcase for storage.
One of my friends purposely makes a pillowcase esp for each quilt using materials either in the quilt or coordinating with the quilt. She has made several wall hangings and has those in the appropriate holiday themed fabric so she can easily get out what she wants.
