I am looking for a pattern that is 3D it was pieced animals and the ears or tails were like floppy.I think there is birds, dogs ,elephants, etc. On the dog his ears were so you could flip them up,I hope I am describing them enough so you can understand it.They were not appliqued they were pieced. It was cute but I can't find where to get the pattern.I checked my LQS and she doesn't know what I am talking about Thanks

Sounds similar to a quilt my mom made for each grandchild. Seems like there is about 12 different animals. Some had floppy ears & some had tails out of rickrack or embroidery floss. They were appliqued down & also the faces & some of the details on the bodies were embroidery. You could paint the details on or machine embroidery if you are that talented. The babies loved them. My children are in their 30's & 40's & still have them. I will see if I can find 1 & post a picture tomorrow.

I have a book that has dogs, cats and a bear (I believe), I'm not sure of the other animals but the dog at least has ears that are loose and floppy. If you would like I'll get you the name of the book, just PM me.
