    I saw a picture of an unusual Sunbonnet Sue..her dress was made using 7 spokes of dresdens...her hat was larger...anyone familiar with this pattern? I can`t seem to find it now...thanks

    I think that pattern was called Fancy Sue and was in Mar/Apr 1997 Quiltmaker.

    The is also a pattern simular to desdan plate method in
    Australian Patchwork and Quilting Vol.9 No. 12 page 74.
    It is called Friendship Girls. It looks like it is the
    same pattern. I've got both books and they look alike.
