I have been looking at the electric quilt quilting desings on CD.Does anyone know if you need some special equipment to use the CDS or can you use them as you would any other machine embroidery design?
I currently have the Dakota Sizer.

The electric quilt quilting design CDs can be used by themselves or in conjunction with EQ7. They are merely a way of sizing and printing out the designs on the CD to your specifications. You would then use the printouts to mark your quilt. Or use as a pantograph to follow, if you have a machine frame.

I have the EQ, but it will not embroidery designs.
If I see a block I like, I hit the print/screen on the keyboard, go to Paint and hit paste. The design comes up and I clean it, crop it and send it to my program to digitize.

Thanks to everyone
I saw the line desings and thought to myself how nice they looked for a quilt.
I am trying to learn FMQ to no avail LOL And I do have some quilting designs that I can embroidery onto the borders of the quilt so I was wondering.I know not to purchase any of them now.
Thank you all again!!!
