fleece and the Longarm quilter
I have a friend that wants me to use fleece for the backing of a regular cotton quilt. I have never used fleece in this way before. Can any of you give me hints?

I have used fleece a couple of times. Even used a double fleece and no batting/no top! I like to load the fleece with the selvage edge along the leader. I think I get less stretch. Also don't tighten the rollers taut. Even if there is a bit of play, you would rather have that than stretch it. Here is a picture of one of those fleece throws in progress. the thread just buries itself in the fleece. Looks embossed!
