Fleece panel
I bought a really nice military fleece panel to make into a throw for my stepson's family. The only thing I have ever done is a tied fringe with two pieces of fleece. Husband would like something fancier or more finished looking for this. Can anyone give me any ideas how to finish a fleece panel into a throw.
Pictures would be appreciated of projects if you have them since I'm a new sewer.
Thanks

Some quilters use fleece as a backing on their quilts ... so back his panel with a coordinating pieced quilt!
Would you use binding around the two together in a case like this? I've never used fleece and cotton just all cotton quilts (only 2 I've done) How hard is it to bind to fleece since I know it stretches.

I have a piece of fleece my DMIL gave me and I have it folded in my sewing room. I didn't know what to do with it until just now. Most people enjoy the plain fleece tied at the edges. I forgot all about that. I think I will do that with my fleece. Thanks for the idea. It's fast and easy.

I would machine or LAQ the two together. Then bind it, machine stitching to the fleece side, and turning to the cotton side to finish with hand stitching.

I saw this yesterday:

and thought it was interesting. People like to make fleece quilts for our local Project Linus chapter, so I'm always interested in seeing new ways to make no-sew fleece quilts!
