I've already posted pictures of my heart "meander":

My question is, how do you keep from wandering all over and getting lost on the area of the quilt? I want the design to be random, but i miss whole sections. How do I keep my location more orderly? I tried filling a block at a time, but I keep getting off course. (I hope that makes sense.)

When doing an all over design, I kind of plan sections in my head and work within them. For example, the centre square foot, then right middle, right corner and so on, turning the quilt as I go. Also I don't watch the foot or the needle but the area I'm about to move into. It comes with practice, don't stress! I saw your hearts meander and think you're doing great! :-D

From the view of your pic,it looks like you did a great job. The only way to get more orderly is to quilt in sections (sounds like you do) and practice, practice, practice, practice, did I say you need to practice? Oh yeah just practice......sounds simple huh?! Silly me, I meant to say practice. LOL
