Lori Kennedy - her blog is The Inbox Jaunt - has some interesting posts on doodles. You can sign up for e-mails where she shows you her new doodles and designs and how to make them. Search for her and the link will come up.

I got a big white board and I doodle on that till I like what I see. Be sure not to put your elbow down. You want to teach your arm that movement, not your wrist. Also use low odor dry erase markers. I almost asphyxiated myself the 1st time I tried this (oh and I used up a whole marker!). I found a big office white board at a thrift store for about $5
I agree on Lori Kennedy's www.inboxjaunt.com Her stuff is the BEST and she breaks it down into steps. Great place for beginner and anyone needing a great idea!

The above link will take you someplace that my security software did not like and would not let load. The real link is: http://theinboxjaunt.com/
