You might think this was high but the quality was fantastic and it was all just what I wanted.
The fat quarters around here at shops at the best ever sales are now $1.50. These at the garage sale were around 75cents.
The big kits at around 30% (or 70% off) are terrific. One was $40 and on ebay it is over $250. Around here the max sales are 50% for picked over fabrics. We have a LQS going out of business and she has only 20% off her leftovers.
Good prices for me for the quality and first choice.

What a haul!!! There are never sales like that around here. I guess everyone is keeping their stuff!!! I started looking for a few things last summer, and every sale I went to just had junk. The prices were high, too. I guess everyone around here thinks their junk is everyone else's "treasure". It is fun though.

Yup, garage, rummage, yard sales, they're all wonderful places to find fabrics. What I don't like though is the sale where the seller thinks her fabric is worth more than she paid for it. I've left and headed to the next sale and found wonderful buys. Most of the buyers were still at the other sale. I came away with boxes of Threads magazines at .10/each and fabric $1/pc w/3 yd+ each. I can hardly wait til it's garage sale time again. We had snow yesterday so spring is still a bit away.

The reader who said prices are a little high for a garage sale might have done what I did at first. I read "all at
30% OFF retail". On re-reading I saw it said "30% OF retail". Wow, you got the buy of the auction. Enjoy! (I believe, however, you might still find something you need in Paducah LOL)
