Have you made a 'reflection' or 'fractured' quilt?

Have you made a 'reflection' or 'fractured' quilt?
I'm really fascinated by the look of these quilts. Where u take 4 identical cuts of fabric, trim off the outside of 3 of them, cut into squares and put back together.
For any of you who have experience with them, how does a decorative panel (seasonal) work for this pattern? Are there any do's or don't's when picking out the fabric?
I appreciate any of your comments and thanks in advance

My mom and I took a class on this technique. She used a large floral print and I used one with cars on it. I went on and made a couple other fractured car blocks and put them into a quilt. It is an easy technique, but you have to have space to lay it all out so you don't mix up the blocks. If that happens, the whole design won't look right.

The technique was started by Brenda Esslinger and her Fabulous Fractures book.
