Have you used "Essential Cotton" thread on a longarm?
I have been using King Tut cotton thread on my APQS longarm machine, and really like everything about -- except the price. I see that Connecting Threads has a cotton thread called "Essential", size 50/3. It costs $9.99 for a 5,000 yard cone. That is less than half the price of King Tut. Most of my quilting is for charity quilts, and I'd love to find a good quality thread that doesn't break the bank.
Have you every used this thread in a longarm machine? What is your opinion? I'd love to hear the pros and cons you have discovered in using this thread on a longarm.
Thanks in advance, Quilter Friends.

I used it this weekend to quilt a baby quilt. My machine really liked it--no broken threads and sewed like a dream. I was having problems with my Omni on it and switched to this and it was great. I was very pleased. I'm going to order more colors of it. I just got white to try.
