Hi all,
I decided to make a quilt for my son-in-law for Christmas, after he made the comment that all of the quilts in their house are feminine. So, I started with some car fabric that I had. It is flannel, and has little dogs driving race cars. Well, I ran out of that, so I went through more stash and found other car fabrics. I used the churn dash block for the some of the blocks, then I did some 9 patch blocks. I tied them all together with a piece of blue fabric, and I have a darker blue that I am using for sashing.
I told my daughter what I was doing, and asked if she thought he would like it. I hope he does. I had a hard time deciding what kind of fabric to use.
Just thought I would share. Hopefully, after Christmas I will be able to post a picture. Have to have her bring her camera.
