Help! I accidently snipped my quilt top!
#1
Hello! I would like some advice. I accidentally snipped my quilt top....almost an inch, from the outside edge of the border. Is there a good way to fix it, without the repair showing too much, before I go further with the sandwich?
Thanks so much!

show us your quilt top please. my sister did that and depending what your pattern is you can maybe do some embroidery on the spot. My sister had flowers all over and she machine embroidered some bumble bee over the cuts and added a couple more.

You might try using a bit of fusible interfacing behind the snipped spot. That would probably be the least likely to show the repair...unless you do some sort of applique over that spot and then randomly in other places over the quilt.

There isnt' much you can do except to mend it. When you quilt it, try to quilt through the repair and near the outside edges of it. That way when you wash the quilt it will pucker up in that area and it will probably be almost completely hidden.
