Help - I need a 12.5 inch quilt block to set on point!
#1
I am doing a round robin - first one ever! I have 4 fabrics of Haida prints (red, white and black) that I want to incorporate into this quilt block. The blocks needs to be 12.5 inches - so that when sewn it will be 12 inch and it will be set on point. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Janet

This link has lots of blocks. Most any square block can be set on point. You might want to choose a smaller block then border it out to the 12.5 square you need for your center.

Ex: take a 8 1/2" square piece of paper, measure it corner to corner, and it measures just slightly over 12"
Choose a 9 in block that can be trimmed without losing any points, you will be trimming almost 1/8" off of each side. :D:D:D
