Help me choose the fabric please!!!!!!

I need help picking a fabric. I am making a quilt for my son for college. Colors are kelly green and white. I bought those today. I am afraid it will look like a picnic tablecloth if I stick with just those colors. 2 members here have helped me immensely with pattern ideas, but now I really need you to help me pick the third color. My son hasn't a clue. He wanted to keep it green, so I gave him these options. Can you help me pick please? I really wanted a contrasting color, but son wants to stick to school colors. Help!

I give up. I can't get my computer to put anything into the right format. Three of the four choices I found at Fabric Depot - they are prisma batiks by Hoffman and are any of the greens that would look good with Hoffman Kona cotton clover green. If anyone has time, I would appreciate the help, but believe me, I understand it is a pain to go to the websites and look them up. I guess I need more instruction on computers from my teen. Virg

if son really wants school colors and the colors are kelly green and white- i would stick with the two- i have made 14 school color quilts so far and have always just used the school colors/ i don't think any of them have looked like a picnic tablecloth- although if the kids wanted to use it for that i would not have a problem with it- i encourage them to use the quilts how ever they want to use them. i never yell when i see one covering the dresser on the back of the truck being moved or if it's on the bed, on the lawn-being used as a beach/picnic blanket- or at football games as a stadium blanket- i just love the fact they wanted a school color's quilt in the first place- once i give it it is theirs to use as they see fit.

I was thinking of a double irish chain, as a very helpful person on this board had suggested. I would want the biggest part of the color to be the green instead of the traditional white, as I know my son, and, well, large areas of white probably won't last long :). I agree the colors are very matchy, but I am so new to quilting that I don't know what to do about it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. There are two other quilt patterns I am considering - a rail fence and then one another wonderful person sent me a picture of, but I don't know the name.
to ckcowl - what patterns did you use?? I don't care what he uses it for, he said he wanted it for his bed, I just think just green and white is kinda boring and he said a nine patch would be fine, but that all in just those two colors - I do have a plastic picnic table cloth almost just like it in blue.:)
Thank you all for your help. If anyone has better ideas, don't keep them to yourself! Virg
