Help me out here
#1
Several weeks ago there were instructions for an interesting block which I didn't bookmark and would like to find again. Two 8 inch squares were placed RST and the stitching started 2 inches down from one corner, along that side and the next, then 2 inches down again and back around.
It was cut 2 inches in from two sides, etc. I made a block but didn't write any instructions down and now I can't remember just how to do it. Anyone out there who can help me?

No kidding...that sounds VERY interesting. Did you look through "watched links"..or your top log...or any of those links on the top of this page in blue?? I've relocated some things I couldn't find going through that.

Your description reminds me of this:

Scroll down to where it says "For A Limited Time" and you can download the pattern (for, well, a limited time): ;-)
Great pattern, great designer!

However, neither would help in this situation.
Watched Topics - a thread will only show if someone else posted to the thread AFTER you last viewed it. As it was several weeks ago, it's probably way back and not being viewed. It's totally possible that in a month or two from now someone will find it and post to it, which will make it show up again next time you click Watched Topics.
Topic Log - is a list of the topics you recently viewed. But it only lists back a certain number of topics (I'm not sure of the exact amount, but it certainly isn't going back several weeks ;-) ) , and if you've logged off, it will clear out everything for that session. And sometimes it clears it out within a session.
HTH.
