when our Fabricland closed up before I quilted, I bought lots of Christmas fabric to make present bags instead of using wrapping paper. I also bought ribbons, some buttons etc. for dirt cheap. I am still using some of the fabric and never regretted it.
I do regret that I did not quilt at that time. Now that I do, the Fabricland just south of me closed up over a year ago and I have to go down into Toronto or up north to get to a quilting store. There is no close quilt store near me at all so go for it, you won't regret it. lol

What are you thinking, Brenda M? For goodness sake, get down there girl and spend! You would be foolish to pass up an opportunity like this! Think of it as SAVING you money in the long run...
Do you think I could get a flight over in time? I can bring a very large suitcase and just one change of clothes...

75% off is reason enough to stock up on fabrics, notions, whatever else I could get my hands on!! How often do you come across a sale like that? I'm sorry, but I'm not strong enough to walk away from something that tempting!!
