HELP, please - glue on quilt - removal?
#1
An unfinished quilt of mine was displayed at a local shop; and when I got it back there were 2 markings with some type of glue. I do not think it was intentional, just where the quilt touched some surface...
NOW... how does one get glue off a quilt? On any other surface, I'd use silicone spray or even mineral oil but those would leave an oily mark on fabric (and it's black fabric!!)
HELP, please!

first thing you need to find out exactly what it is...it could be a fusable webbing or elmers glue...you need to know; if it is just white glue it should just wash out. if it is something more (sinister) you will have to take bigger measures. but you can not begin until you know what it is you are trying to remove.

Try an icecube...usually anything sticky will come right off after being in contact with ice for a min or two. And using the icecube will not leave an oily residue on your quilt top.
