My friend that I sold the Little Boy quilt to has asked me to put a bible verse on the label. Below is a link to the (almost finished) quilt..but I don't know how to do the verse...She wants Proverbs 3:5-6..Do I do the verses and identify them separately (Proverbs 3:5..then the next verse and identify it?) Or just do the verses and identify using the dash between 5-6? I'm assuming that I need to identify them...?
I'm really not sure the verse is appropriate for the top though...she is buying the quilt...and hasn't seen it to this point...should I advise her to maybe do something different? She also bought the Little Girl quilt, so she does already know the style of these.

Sandpat,
That's actually one of my favorite verses! Though it's for a little boy, he won't be little for long, and this verse contains wonderful advice for his future. It's not what we'd think of as a kid's verse, admittedly.
Were it me doing the verse, I'd do it thus:
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
If you just leave a bit of space between the verses, the reader will get the idea.

Thanks so much! I thought that doing like that would be right, but I just wasn't sure.
The more I think about it..I do think this will be be right for this quilt. The friend's mother has seen the quilt and they are on vacation together right now...so I can't email a pic to her. I'll probably call her on her cell just to talk it over before I do something that can't be changed.
Thanks for all the great advice!
