How do you use or Do the Leap frog chain piecing method?
Hi there, I purchased a Tessellating Windmills and Leap Frog Method templete form Marti Mitchell booth at the quilt show. and i am fairly new to quilting, i do not understand how to use it! what is the leap frog method i watched the little viedo she has on her site but it was to fast to see how they do it, does anyone know or have a step by step pictures on how to use this templete. it looks like a real cool quilt if i could only figure it out.

Hi Patti, did you see this video? it's not fast at all, and may help some. I haven't thought of doing this one, yet, but it does look an interesting technique.

Yes I have watched it, I have done a search and that tis the only one I can find, I thought maybe someone had done a tutorial on a blog or something? I guess I will have to watch it a few more times to get it in my head, or practice with some paper cuts? Thank you

I have made a few twister quilts, I sewed together set of 5 inch squares with a border set around I made myself a twister ruler which is. Square with the lines drawn diagonally off each other. There is a link somewhere will look up and find. It's much easier than the utube.
Try this from our very own site. http://www.quiltingboard.com/links-r...al-t91410.html

DOTTYMO - thanks so much for your post. I've been planning on making a few acrylic templates but wasn't sure how to cut them. Have just been to your webpage on how-to, and it seems so easy, though my efforts cutting glass this way didn't pay off will give this a go.

Just watched the MM tute on her tesselating windmills. And it seems very confusing...and the shots of what she was doing were so far away from what she was actually doing I feel like a tesselating windmill....I think I prefer the twister method!

I know that is why I am confused as how to do it, I think I waisted my 15.00 dollars the twister method looks much easier!
