Can anyone tell me if they have this machine. It is from a dealer who offers lessons, and 3 year warranty on all parts and labor for 999.99. Is this a descent price, brand new in the box and has the 2 popular size hoops with it. Any comments would be welcome. Thanks

I have the Janome 350e and love it. The differences between the 300e and 350e are minimal. So long as you have the USB port, you can do about anything. The two hoop sizes are the most common and there isn't much you would want to do that would need a larger hoop. I love being able to personalize tea towels, hand towels, aprons and quilt labels. I tried a combo first but like the separate machines best. While sewing on one, the 350e is making a label or design. My friends all love Maxine and I have both of her cd's.

The 300 is an older model. The 350 replaced it at least two years ago. I have had my 300 about five years now. I love having an embroidery machine, but I have had a lot of bobbin trouble with my 300. In the shop 4-5 times a year. Also, the 300 uses a card to import designs from your computer to our embroidery machine, while the 350 uses a USB port to pull designs directly from your computer, which is much easier. Hope this helps.
