I don't mean to offend, but.....

Everyone has their own preference, which again, is why this Board is so great. We can each display our own unique talents.

I loved the one someone did with the pink colors. She did embroidery on it. I guess we all like different things. That is what makes the world go around. The Shepherdsville, Ky. House of quilts is having a big sale this weekend. I buy my Donna Sharp purses there.

I've decided I will NEVER be beige/pearls elegant, so I'm going to try to be "unique" - JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE! :)
But I can't do really short hair either. My sis? The exact OPPOSITE of me!! She always looks like she's going out for the evening. We laugh like crazy over it :D
OOPS- This was supposed to be a response to Lisawannabe!! :D

Sorry if I offend also but DITTO here. Can't see myself ever making one since they hold no interest for me and I would feel tacky carrying one - even if it was coordinated to go with what I was wearing.
Not to say they are not desirable to others - to each their own.
I'm here for the quilts as well and draw great knowledge and inspiration from the many quilt photos, patterns and tips posted by all members.
Also, the general chit-chat area offers a lot of interesting topics to ponder as well.

Not quite for me either, bigger the bag the more I stuff into it, do have a few larger totes and sling bags for traveling and trips where more goodies are needed.
Have made those, just not that design. :)

I can see where some of us would really like them and find it much fun to make and give away or keep and use. But, having said that I am aboring old traditionalist quilt maker. It is like this I guess "sometimes you feel like a nut...sometimes you don't"

I just cut out my first bow tuck. I'm not putting the ties on, using a longer strap (shoulder bag length) and I cut a flap for the closure instead of the button and loop, and will velcro it. I have always carried a purse because I worked for many years before I retired and needed to carry many things with me for the day. I like having tissues handy since I have allergies and I need to have pills in my purse. I carry my camera and cell phone with me and sun glasses, and so on. I've washed my cards many times when I had them stuck in a pocket so I don't do that anymore.
It is good that we don't all like the same things.
