I got my new old featherweight
#1
I got my featherwieght I bought off Ebay and unpacked it today. It brings back so many memories of my mom teaching me how to sew.
I paid 165, more than the 150, I had budgeted but the machine is in almost pristin condition. It has the original accessories, box and tray. It sews and sounds the way I remember.
I don't want to use it as it's in such condition, I don't want to scratch it.

One of these days, i will find mine. i am a very patient person, there is one out there with my name on it. and when i find her, i will jump for joy. Enjoy yours, even if you are just going to admire her.

Congratulations!
I know your excitement as I got one last week in perfect condition. There are a couple of pin scratches but that is about it. Mine had no case though. Which is fine as I plan on using it.
I have already started making a quilt on it. It(she) just purrs along. I love her.
My son wanted me to sell it for a profit, but no way. She's my baby Priscilla. (Prissy for short).
You can either keep her for an investment, or use her. I plan on using mine and the investment will be all of the wonderful quilts she produces!
Gotta warn you though, once you start sewing, you're sunk! You will want to use her all the time!
By the way, where's her picture?
