I just did this.
Seems I've invented another mistake. Just can't believe I did this, sewed the binding to back of my quilt, now what of course my corners are great.It's now in my UFO pile to be dealt with when I'm in a better mind set. LOL.

Machine stitch the binding to the front! It might not look quite as clean as stitching to the front and hand-sewing to the back, but if your stitches are neat and/or you use a decorative stitch, it can be quite attractive.

I agree with Jennalyn, I do bindings that way when I am on a deadline. They look fine, especially if you use a decorative stitch that will look good from the back too or use bobbin thread that "disappears" into your backing fabric.
