I need binding help pretty please...
Ok, let me start by saying I always done my binding by machine and have never done this before. Apparently not enough coffee this morning.
I have been using amma's glue basting since I first saw it posted. I sew it on the back and then glue baste it to the front. I have gotten pretty good at it.
Problem: I sewed binding on, was almost done glue basting to the other side... Then it happened! I realized I sewed the binding to the front and basted it to the back! UGH Must be a Monday thing. I do not want to sew this to the back by hand (don't know how and hands tend to hurt.) The binding is tan(matches the backing) and the border on the from is red (civial war type colors)
How do I sew this together without taking it off? I know it can be done, but can't find a post or any info. I have tan and red thread to match. So how do I finish this by machine?

I think I found my solution. I guess I just needed to be a little more patient. LOL not a strong suit of mine.
I found a tutorial from Red Pepper Quilts.
I am going to stitch in the ditch on the top and catch the bottom. I am going to use red thread on top and tan thread on the bottom per her tutorial. When I am done, I will post some pics.

I machine bind my quilts too, when I actually get around to it. I think what you are going to do is the right thing to do. It will turn out perfectly fine!

I go back and do a little hand stitching.
