I think I hit the Jackpot - what do you think?
Found a Singer 66- on Craiglist for $20. She is AL 088371 -or- AL888371.
She must have been stored in a very dusty space. She was full of dust and spider webs.
I cleaned all that out and oiled her and she has been sitting for about a month.
She has a cherry cabinet and runs a little stiff, but I am working on her.
Need to print a manual. Tell me what you know about her.

Went to a yard sale back in the summer and bought this bolt of
black & white for $5. Washed a piece and no shrinkage.
I think it is poly/cotton blend.

At Goodwill last Thursday bought the tub of (39) thread
(red, dark gray, & white) on wooden spools for $2. and
all the fabric (I have washed) for $2.
(PICTURE #3)
Jackpot - All this for $29.

If it's the 888 number, then it's a Singer 66, number allotted November 12, 1954, manufactured in the Elizabethport plant in Elizabeth, NJ. 088 would be a model 15, September 23, 1952.
I have downloaded several different manuals for the 66. If you pm me with your email address I'd be glad to email them to you.
