I received my first Featherweight today and she is a real beauty. She is a centennial Singer 221, born Jan 29, l951, and her name is "Caroline" She is named after a friend who's last name is Singer, her and her husband a daughter are in the choir at church and are fabulous singers. Funny, huh??

There is a huge price difference out there. I have been checking prices on Kijiji in Southern Ontario. I've seen listings from $125 to $750. Most of the ads are in the $300-$350 range. I think prices have come down a little in the last year or so and the ads seem to be staying up much longer which makes me think that they are not selling immediately. There are deals if you wait and look. One lady in our quilt guild wants $225 for a featherweight in good shape.
