Janome 10,000 ????
#1
Hi I have a Janome 10,000 that I bought for $4000.00 in 2000. Is capable of many wonderful things as it sews and embroiders. I made my first quilt with it and a couple puppet costumes. I was in London for a year and a half long story short hadn't used the machine much. When I was making a quilt for a auction last month the screen froze I turned it off and then when it came back on it read ver. 16666.66 144 instead of ver3.00. The dealer said they've never seen anything like that happen before.Still waiting for it to be fixed.
I guess my quandry is it was a very expensive machine with very few miles so to speak has anyone else had this problem?? I'm terrified how much it will cost to fix.

Sorry, no. Usually if I get a strange number on my Janome, if I turn it off and wait a few minutes and turn back on, it clears itself. Call another dealer/repair person who services Janome. You can also e-mail Janome and ask a tech.

You may need to just reinstall the upgrade I had a 10000 upgraded to a 10001 got it at a garage sale for 500 then paid 150 for the upgrade I used it for over a year then got a 11000Se and gave the 10000 to my daughter who loves it to
