Is there anything special you do with these pre-cuts before you start working with them? Do you wash them first, or just have at them?? Thanks.

I personally do not wash them. I don't want to have to iron them.

I just give the package a really good shake - outside!!! to get all the lint and threads out from the pinked edges.
Ask me why I know this.
I don't like WEARING lint.
