I used her method to make table toppers for Halloween. Used a scarecrow in the center and added rows of various fall fabrics. Turned out cute. I didn't really know much about Kaye until I watched her video a few weeks ago. She makes things understandable.

Several years ago Fons and Porter were supposed to be the speakers for the evening event at the Puyallup Sewing and Stitchery Expo. They got stuck in a snowstorm back East, and the organizers had to scramble to find other entertainment. Kaye Wood was the replacement, and she entertained us with stories of her adventures until the tears were literally streaming down my face, because I was laughing so hard. Most of the stories were about us - the quilters she meets on her travels - and the strange things we do. Hilarious!

I am a certified Kaye Wood instuctor and her methods are the best. Her 3 rulers (Starmaker) will cover every angle you ever use in quilting. The starmaker 6 and 8 would make great stack and whack or OBW easy. Her patterns are easy to do with her rulers and she also has what she calls 'View and Do' rulers. These are great for fussy cutting.
