Kreative Kids update!!!!!!
#1
Hello to all of my quilting friends,
Well, things kind of slowed down during the last part of June. I was already beginning to plan for the summer school line up when I was transferred to another school site and directed NOT to have my sewing group.
After transferring all of my machines and beautiful fabric, I was told I could not have this type of activity until board approved. The good news-we uncovered a treasure trove of twenty sewing machines, allr eady to use!! The After school program will make good use, I have donated material and patterns and a different type of sewing club has begun--all thanks to you!
The political issues and personal agendas have become too much, so I have been looking for a job-and have found one.
I will now be moving into Northern California at a different site, and they cant wait for my arrival--and parents have already begun to sign up their girls for a quilting group!!
I have the machines that have been donated and all the "stash" in safe keeping, all organized by color....and our new club will begin to enjoy them by the end of September.
Thank you all for your patience during this trying time. It has been heartbreaking at times, but God has provided a positive transition for me and my new school.
Tears have been shed, but it is all good. Please continue to pray as we will need a miracle to pull this one off without a hitch--moving 300 miles with various livestock, sewing machines, chickens, cats, ducks and dogs is a challenge-not to mention the 7 horses!!!!!!
