The last LQS is closing in my town.

Not really a LQS but sewing machine shop. It did have thread, some notions and a small but good selection of fabric. It's closing the end of the month. The closest place to find fabric or thread now is 30 miles away. A real LQS is over an hour away. Not handy when I need something quick! It's not the economy for the store, it's family health problems.

Hi! Help! am I the only person not getting the Newsletter email in the same format as a few days ago? You know: the one showing the posts unread, photos of quilts, and general chit-chat? Thanks, skjquiltnut and yes I have emailed Admin. but am still unable to get back to like it was just before the new software update.

Skjquiltnut, I don't know what you mean, becasue I haven't noticed any change.
Bella, I am sorry you are going to be without your LQS. I feel very blessed by the many shops here inthe greater St. Louis area. Actually I just found another one the other day!

Bella, you are more than welcome to move here to Idaho Falls! I would love to share my LQSs with you. I've got one about five blocks from me, one about 17 miles away, and within a ten mile radius are Hancocks, Joann's, Michael's, Porters (great place for fabric but too many stinky candles that make it so I can't breathe), Home Fabrics, Ben Franklin, and a couple others I never go to and can't remember the name of.
